When Gucci’s Alessandro Michele won so many street stars/ fashionistas’s hearts by his bold and exaggerating clothing, maximalism has dominated the fashion world. Designers have gone really heavy for the 2018 spring collections; sequin has become such a popular spring look. It’s not a look to be only seen at New Year Eve party. However when you style the sequin piece right, you can actually dress it for so many occasions. I am so obsessed with Monse’s unique design and when I laid my eyes on this Monse sequin embellished top, I knew it belonged to me. It has the right amount of sequins that I want on my look. Like every Monse piece, the elbow-length sleeve and asymmetric silhouette make it so unique. I styled it with a Maxmara white pencil skirt to tone down the glittering orange sequin, a pair of Balenciaga beige ankle strap pumps and a two tone channel Gabrielle purse. The sophisticated look has the right does of trendy yet it feels so fresh and eye-catching. You can also style this top with a pair of white flare pants. The right amount of sequin really adds extraordinary character to the whole look.
